GLASTO...2011??

Some of the prettyfull outfits on display at this years Glastonbury festival! Lots of denim shorts on show, which are definitely a festival must! I did have a ticket for this years Glastonbury but had to cancel it due to June having too many thing going on :(
Lots of my friends have told me of their amazing tales so am thinking next year it is a MUST!

This year for me V will have to do...

FRAN CLARKE LOOKBOOK

Here are the majority of Fran's final selection of images for her graduate lookbook! The model Amie Bennett was amazing to work with and didnt need much direction to make the shots work! I was working alongside Fran to style the shoot, and think the final look was amazing!! The strong black make-up really worked on the elegant-ness of the garments and i dont think we could have asked for a better outcome!

I LOVE POLAROID'S

Here is a quick pic of some polaroids that i made last week!these aren't the final ones but pretty similar, i have made a little booklet of them for part of my final project!

Not really sure were i got the idea from vogue.com does do a 'Today am wearing' feature which is laid out in a similar style though..

WARDROBE ENVY..

Miss Port has my perfect wardrobe! She has a great laid back style which she wears well during the day, but by night she can glam it up still without managing to look to 'over done'. Clashing prints and textures work very well for her...get experimenting!

CAPTURED...

Here are another three images which show simple stylishness,without being too over the top! I looove the woman's chunky tan wedges (from Zara i might add) I am still looking for the right pair to add to my collection and these may just do! The second girl i caught a managed to snap twice as she was herself running round taking pictures, there is a great simplicity about this, cream and black which has a stylish outcome every-time!

STREET STYLE FROM LFW

Looking through some LFW snaps i come across a bunch of people i captured around the tents at Somerset House. This image is one of my favourites she has a slick fierce look about her, and the hat is definitely working with the outfit!

Here are a few of the final pictures i took whilst helping out on our 3rd years shoot! These are a few of the best i think, as they capture the clothes in a great way. These are from the first day of shooting with a model called Camilla, who was great to work with.

BEHIND THE SCENES

Here is a few sneak pics from John Moores 3rd year designers final collection! I was asked to help out with the styling, so managed to take as many pictures as i could whilst i was there over the 2 days. The model's used were great, really professional and easily got into the swing of things.
I shall post some of the final images from the shoots soon so check back for them!

ZIAD GHANEM SHOW

Here is a few of the pictures of the Ziad Ghanem show that was presented as part of ON/OFF. This was the only full show i managed to catch whilst i was down at Fashion Week, but it was worth the wait. A great show with models of all shape and sizes tottering down the catwalk.

SWAGGA & SOUL....

Exhibiting alongside Jayne Pierson were some other great upcoming designers such as Swagga & Soul, a London based label that consists of an entire leather collection. This was was of my favourite collections i come across with the red leather high waisted skirt being a favourite piece of the collection.

Richard Emden had a great stand displaying his bags at On/Off, with the bags chained up to the stand you could have a good look at the collection.

Also these shoes by Tessa Edwards caught my attention, with the wedge heel and prominent zip they are a great statement shoe.
